Andrew Noble just joined us via Cornell where he did his PhD in physics. Andew will work jointly on research and my Boost::graph <-> postgresql linkage project. Welcome Andrew!

My first graduate student Naiara Pinto finished her PhD recently. Naiara has done some terrific work on multi-scale modeling of bat and primate habitat associations and has developed some interesting approaches to quantifying corridor robustness in landscapes (check the pubs section). She's taken a postdoc position at NASA to work on radar image classification.

My latest work on analyzing community dynamics using wavelets was just published in the journal Nature. You can find the paper here.
