We live in what I think is the best neighborhood in Austin located near the city center. It is a short commute to the UT campus and right on several bus routes including the UT shuttle. You have everything you need within walking distance (grocery, pharmacy, great restaurants and cafes). A bit further walking gets you to the Whole Foods shopping area and the west edge of downtown.

The house is a custom-built 1450 sq foot home with 3 beadrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house has many great architectural features. (I'll post some pictures.) It is basically an eclectic artesanal design. Exterior and interior trim is western cedar. The lower floor has Saltillo tile. Brand new central AC.
